The Law of Seriality

This minimalist movement piece, directed by Apolena Vanišová, is loosely inspired by the theories of Austrian biologist and zoologist Paul Kammerer. Four actors closely observe objects moving spontaneously across the stage, focusing on their journey through space. They attempt to mirror or create similar groupings as they emerge in real time. Through the principle of repetition, the production reveals patterns that are often invisible to people in their daily lives. The work offers a visual encounter and invites a meditative immersion in the endless cycle of repetitive patterns, drawing a parallel to Kammerer's Law of Seriality.
