Former Southern belle Blanche DuBois unexpectedly visits her sister Stella and Stella's brutish husband Stanley. Blanche's fragile world collapses as Stanley edges dangerously close to the truth about her past. Dekkadancers bring the world-renowned, progressive team of choreographer and director Arthur Pita to Prague, recasting Tennessee Williams's 1947 classic as an electrifying contemporary dance-and-music experience. The raw, sweat-soaked atmosphere of a New Orleans summer is filled by an original score from leading composer Frank Moon, with period-flavoured set and costumes by designer Yann Seabra — all three based in London, having created work for stages including the Royal Ballet, Sadler's Wells and San Francisco Ballet.
