RFP Concerts: Comeback Kid

Comeback Kid reject the trend of gloomy heavy music. The Canadian band formed in 2000 in Winnipeg out of members of the band Figure Four, and is a home of melodic hardcore unafraid to mix in elements of punk rock and modern hardcore. Their eighth album, Chosen Hell, weaves together elements of fierce modern metal, unyielding old-school punk and vulnerable melody, and features Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox and Brendan Garrone of Incendiary as guests. The line-up is Andrew Neufeld, Jeremy Hiebert, Stu Ross, Chase Brenneman and Terrance Pettitt. The track Heartland Elegy is dedicated to former bassist Matt Keil, who died after a battle with ALS.
