Four bodies and hundreds of kilograms of tires interlock in a physically demanding performance that explores the fragile relationships between people and their environment. The unpredictable pile of tyres that dominates the set and determines human behaviour is gradually transformed into a living and dynamic architecture. PNEU is a performance where rules unexpectedly disappear and reappear, chaos becomes structure and imbalance becomes a driving force — a scenic essay about effort, exhaustion and renewal of strength, about physical and mental endurance, about the desire not to lose lightness even when everything is falling apart. Viktor Černický was awarded the Main Prize and the Audience Award of the Czech Dance Platform 2019, and his work was part of the prestigious Aerowaves Twenty20 European dance selection.
