Arab Strap are a cult Scottish indie band celebrating thirty years on the scene this year with a new album and a run of shows — this autumn they head out on an exclusive, limited European tour of just eight concerts, including a stop at Prague's MeetFactory. The band's trademark heavy, melancholic sound, dominated by a frontman's voice moving from spoken word through whispers to swelling intensity, is pushed further still on their new record Half-Told Tales. The album shifts from disco through metal to post-rock and spoken word, with touches of folk and electronics, while never losing the band's unmistakable identity.
