Making Love

Pain was pleasure, and pleasure was pain, and I couldn't have wished for it to stop. The solo Making Love by choreographer and dancer Sabina Palán Bočková continues her long-term exploration of women's status in society, begun with the POCKETART collective's Fairy Tales. This time she focuses on female sexuality in connection with spirituality, drawing on the tradition of Christian mystics and transforming it into a world of raw dance, live music and powerful visuals. Together with musician Lukáš Palán she creates an intense dialogue of movement, music and song, set within Slovak designer Simona Gottierová's scenography built from liquids and colour.
