Saxophonist Fred Madison's wife, Renee, finds a videotape on the steps of their luxury home, recording a crime committed in their bedroom. The bloodied victim looks like Renee, and the killer looks like Fred. Police arrest the musician, but after a few days discover that an unknown young man is imprisoned in the cell instead.
