The programme presents Mozart’s flute quartets alongside the story of their creation and the historical idea that the composer disliked the flute. Works by Johann Sebastian Bach and Franz Anton Hoffmeister are also included. Café Zimmermann performs with Karel Valter, Pablo Valetti, Peter Biely and Petr Skalka. The evening brings together flute, strings and Mozart’s musical imagination in chamber music for experts and newcomers alike.
