Trapéza

This movement production grows from research into contemporary European circus and clowning. The subversive figure of the clown, long balanced between comedy and tragedy, becomes an image of present-day tensions and distorted realities. A circus structure creates a space where reality and illusion, form and virtuosity continually overlap. The work reflects on social, media and cultural constructs and on the search for identity between chaos and order, play and contemplation.
