Theater Concrète /work-in-progress/: Pasi Mäkelä a Ferst Dadler: Norma 2026 – Znovuzrození

Ferst Dadler — Elia Moretti (IT/CZ) and Inga Zotova-Mikshina (RU/CZ) — is a Prague-based experimental performance group operating at the intersection of art and ecology, exploring relational structures and the politics of intimacy through installations, performance, sound art and community facilitation. For their upcoming project, the group invited Finnish performer, musician and director Pasi Mäkelä, recently nominated for the Thalia Award and closely associated with the Finnish experimental theatre scene. The project explores states of consciousness at the edge of sleep and waking (hypnagogia and hypnopompia), applying this study to theatrical and musical practice, challenging the conventions of performative work and dismantling the structures of its own artistic constructions. As a compositional approach it develops the concept of "theatre concrète", based on Pierre Schaeffer's musical term Musique concrète — working with the raw materials of theatre, such as basic gestures and entrances and exits, rather than text or dramatic ideas.
