Story-oke: Sing and Tell

Story-oke is part karaoke, part confessional, inviting performers and audience members to share a true story about a song, or about their connection to it, before singing it. This edition features song storytellers Meredith Dietz, Hampton Humber, Dana Krietz, and Nicholas Kaminski, drawing on backgrounds spanning stand-up, science communication, Off-Broadway acting, and musical theatre composition, alongside whatever songs and stories audience members choose to bring to the stage. The show is hosted by Shyaporn Theerakulstit, with prizes for participants and every song's story treated as part of the performance.
