Fabio Marra’s Spolu is a fragile and witty story about Isabell, a mother who has spent her life caring for her son Michel, a man with an intellectual disability. Their world of love and irony is unsettled by questions of responsibility, devotion and the right to a life of one’s own. The production explores accepting difference and using humour to face difficult situations.
