Shaking Hand

Promising Manchester trio Shaking Hand, drifting between 90s post-rock nostalgia and contemporary midwest emo, play Prague for the first time. The band emerged only last year with a self-titled record dedicated to their home city of Manchester — their melancholic indie rock, blending unconventional tunings and asymmetric rhythms, draws on modernist architecture as much as the sound of the 90s American scene, and the album carries clear traces of bands like Slint, Sonic Youth, Yo La Tengo and Pavement.
