Oliver Lovrenski: Když nám bylo míň
The first Czech adaptation of the Norwegian literary sensation dubbed Trainspotting for Generation Z. The nineteen-year-old author opens up themes of a crisis of masculinity, worsening youth mental health and the perils of migration, in a formally and linguistically experimental text inspired by the clip-like rhythm of social media and by rap. Direction is by young director Gabriela Gabašová, who successfully preserves the source's raw energy and rapid-cut pacing.
