Mykki Blanco

Queer rap chameleon, multifaceted artist, performer and poet Mykki Blanco returns to the Smíchov factory after ten years, presenting a new album, Café Paradiso, a record dedicated to all the city kids whose lives are framed by the concrete jungle. On the album Blanco undergoes a rebirth, and in place of the theatrical poses and personas that dominated earlier records comes something far more inward and intimate, drawn from the varied, everyday yet deeply personal situations of a life on the road. The album is the soundtrack of someone wandering the city, moving through spaces where being alone doesn't have to mean being lonely.
