Michel Houellebecq: Serotonin

The first Czech stage adaptation of the bleakest book by French writer Michel Houellebecq. Forty-six-year-old Florent-Claude, physically healthy yet on the verge of death, realises he made a mistake in life by missing the fact that relationships demand something different from choosing products in a supermarket. He finds himself in an urgent emptiness that can't be chased away with luxury goods, drugs or exotic destinations, severs every work and personal tie, and stages a series of encounters with his ex-partners and with himself, in order to stumble toward the inevitable point.
