Improvising the Hero's Journey unites hosts of several mythology-themed podcasts for an evening of stand-up, improv and PowerPoint-style comedy benefiting the youth writing organization 826NYC. Performers include Erica Ito, Mike Schubert, Mallory Fondren, Emily Garber, Phoebe Corde, Conor McShane, Deirdre Manning, Colin LeMoine, Grant DeArmitt, and Adam Mamawala. Working from audience suggestions, the team of mythology podcasters, comedians and pop culture critics closes the night by improvising an original myth in the style of the Greek classics, with proceeds donated to the charity.
