"Mami" (Mum) is the first person we address and call out to in our lives. In his second book of poetry, Jan Musil sometimes reproaches without mercy, often laughs slyly, but in treacherously spare language keeps asking the same questions: how, despite all the hatred, to reach reconciliation before it's too late, and what if for some things it already is too late, and that's alright. Jan Musil published the collection Poslední život: Bildungspoema z minulosti a budoucnosti and devoted his dissertation to thanatography; his translations include Duncan Macmillan's play Monster. Revue Prostor and the Paradox publishing house invite you to the launch of this poetry collection, the evening hosted by Kryštof Eder.
