Esther Bol: Infračervené

Six characters, six broken countries, six grotesque stories of escape, survival and pretence — set on the uncertain territory of a television competition, where the only prize for the winner is US citizenship. Divadlo MeetFactory presents, in world premiere, a new text by Russian-French author Esther Bol. In the infrared spectrum, you can see beneath the surface of things: what is scientist Ashti, from a country ruled by religious fundamentalists, hiding, who is street artist Meran willing to become, what does pregnant contestant Oksana sacrifice to win?
