Ekonomika soucitu. Jak se žije pečující chudobě v Česku?

Ekonomika soucitu (Economy of Compassion) is a series published in the daily Alarm, focused on social and healthcare workers in care, informal family carers, non-profit workers and personal assistants, who form the backbone of society yet often live in poverty or on its edge. Czechia ratified the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in 2009, whose Article 19 promises an independent way of life and inclusion in society — the right to live where you choose, with the support you need. In Czechia this has turned into waiting: for a disability pension, a care allowance, a medical assessment. Answering questions will be a lawyer, a person dependent on care, and Rad Bandit, the author of the Economy of Compassion series.
