Édouard Levé: Díla. Autoportrét. Sebevražda
Viktorie Vášová's production draws on three key books by French photographer, conceptual artist and writer Édouard Levé — a catalogue of 533 unrealised artworks, brief first-person affirmative statements, and the author's final text about the life of a friend who took his own life, written ten days before Levé himself did the same. Through ten actors' testimonies, the production assembles an ambiguous portrait of a man whose name and face remain unknown, and raises questions about when a work of art comes into being — at its mental conception, or only at its physical realisation.
