Blaník
Blaník is a stage version of a Czech myth performed by the Jára Cimrman Theatre. The play works with knights hidden inside a mountain and with the history teacher Josef Bohuslav Chvojka, who finds himself in their world. Cimrman’s humour combines a national legend, a lecture and an absurd view of Czech history with comic exaggeration.
